# Pillow Question > Dream incubation in two sittings: take one question to bed, then sort what the morning brings back. The question check, an estimated tide chart of the night and the recall split run free in the browser; two metered lanes write the evening seed and the morning harvest. https://pillow-question.skillsafe.ai/ ## What it does - Free, in the browser (nightkit.js, tideview.js): a shape check of tonight's question (yes/no, two questions in one, asking for a prediction, about changing someone else, too short or too long -> ready or reshape). From a bedtime and an alarm, an estimated night of textbook 90-minute sleep cycles drawn as a tide chart: the dreaming stretches (REM) are the high tides, longer and nearer morning; an optional night waking (wake back to bed) is placed after the third cycle when the night is long enough. In the morning, the recall is split into fragments, with the words it shares with the question or the phrase and any feeling words it names; little or no recall is detected. - Paid lane `seed` (verdict ready | reshape): the question kept or reshaped (with why), a 5-12 word incubation phrase, three images drawn from the person's own words, a 60-110 word visualization, a bedside card, what to do on waking in the night, morning prompts, cautions. - Paid lane `harvest` (verdict echo | faint | quiet): up to six fragments, each quoting the person's own words exactly, with an image label, the feeling they wrote, a possible thread back to the question phrased as a question, and a journaling prompt; threads across fragments; journal prompts; one adjustment for the next night. - The page re-checks every reply: harvest quotes must appear in the recall, seed times must be on the night's sketch, no internal field names in prose, verdicts compared with the page's own reading. - Exports: printable bedside card, .ics alarms for the night waking and the morning, a Markdown journal page, JSON. Saved nights live in the person's SkillSafe account (collection `nights`). ## Contract - Run input: `task` (`seed` | `harvest`), `question`, `context`, `page_flags` (JSON), `page_verdict`; `seed` adds `bedtime`, `wake`, `wbtb`, `night` (JSON estimate); `harvest` adds `phrase`, `dream`, `waking_mood`, `page_recall` (JSON). See https://pillow-question.skillsafe.ai/api.html - Reply: one JSON object per task. ## Sources - Built on the SkillSafe skill @jmsktm/journal-prompter (daily journaling prompts and frameworks for reflection, growth and clarity). - Sleep times are a textbook estimate, not a measurement. Dreams are treated as material for reflection, never as predictions. Not medical advice.
